feeling cute today

a complete stranger complimented my (new and most fantab ever) shoes

and i would just like to say that compliments from strangers are the best kind, as they are both completely unbiased and unprovoked

...so the moral of the story is that you should compliment strangers whenever you can because that'll make their week and you'll have done your good deed and paid your debt to society for the time being

actually, got a lot of compliments on my shoes today, and i didn't even have to fish for most of them...
also got two blisters, and i certainly didn't have to fish for them

but i digress

feeling cute today

...regardless of the fact that was accosted all day about my skirt that was legit (too legit to quit, even)

was sent to the office by some random teacher in the hall to be measured

then later was practically called a lying slut by asst. principal perpetual-stick-up-her-butt when i swore up and down that i had already been weighed, measured, and *not* found wanting

and then it was time for happy-bubbly-fake time in the twilight zone...
but will not divulge in that whole strange story...

because am feeling cute today
