is a much prettier name than

britney ::crickets chirp::

there are several very good reasons backing this decision:

One: brittany is the *correct* way to spell it
Two: britney was created by the laziness of the public in dropping that extra syllable that makes the name brittany sound so much more sophisticated than the ever-bland britney.
Three: britney spears. come on.
Four: while we're on that subject, brittany murphy has more acting talent in her little finger than britney spears will ever accumulate in her entire life.
And Seven: my word is law.

now, i have had some very good friends named britney, and i don't encourage nameism or judging a person by the name they were stuck with by their parents in any way, shape, or form.
but the point remains that my name is so much prettier, and they were stuck with the suck name.
