feminism: still a worthy cause
The older I get, the more I realize how unequal we really are. And if I do the proper thing and hold my tongue like generations and generations of those before me, I'm only feeding it. But if I sit here and make a speech, try and explain the broken, rusted, dangerous parts of our system, I'll only be written off as another crazy femnazi out to destroy what little ground white men have left to stand on. But it's true. We have come a long, long way in only a few generations, but it's not over. It's far from over. That's all I have to say for now. Maybe I'll come back when I'm feeling a little less defeated. FIN. 12:57 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005 |
